A man in Florida was arrested today (October 26, 2018) in connection with a dozen suspected mail bombs sent to high profile figures, according to the Washington Post website.
The man has been identified as Cesar Sayoc, 56, according to a law enforcement official.
Florida records show that Sayoc has a lengthy criminal record in the state, including a 2002 arrest for a bomb threat and others for larceny and fraud.
Law enforcement officials have found 12 bomb packages sent to people who have criticized President Trump. None of the packages has detonated.
