Saying "All these Jews need to die," a gunman killed eight people and injured several others today (October 27, 2018) at a Pittsburgh synagogue, according to the JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency) website.
The incident occurred around 10:20 a.m. at The Tree of Life, a 150-year-old Conservative Jewish congregation in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood.
The suspect was identified as Robert Bowers, a 46-year-old white male who surrendered to a SWAT team on the scene.
Police said at least three officers were wounded in the gunfire exchanges.
