Two Brothers in Pakistan Nabbed for Raping Girl; Six-Year-Old Girl Remains in Critical Condition

The Eurasia Review website reports today (May 27, 2012) that police have arrested two young brothers for raping a six-year-old girl in Pakistan.

"My six-year-old daughter was attacked and sexually assaulted by two brothers when she went to buy milk for her family," a person told local media in Muzaffarabad, the capital of the Pakistani part of Kashmir -- a state divided between India and Pakistan.

Doctors disclosed that the girl had been raped. She is in critical condition at a hospital.

"Life of my innocent girl has been ruined. Only justice can lessen my wounds," the girl's father said. Under Islamic law, persons convicted of rape must be stoned to death.

  1. It has been greatly influenced by the European Political Theology movement and by the radical North American theologians J.B. Metz, Jügen Moltmann and Harvey Cox. These men have not really been criticizing Orthodox Christianity. It is not clear if they know what it is or if they care. Their dispute has been with Protestant liberal theology or the ahistorical and individualistic nature of existential theology.
