Lesbians Charged with Mischief, False Reporting; Faked Hate Crime with the Words "Kill the Gay"

The Blaze website reports today (May 20, 2012) that a lesbian couple in Colorado called police last October to report that they found the words "Kill the Gay" scrawled in red across their garage door, and a noose hanging from their front door.

The couple told officers they believed that the hateful acts were the works of their neighbors and the homeowner's association.

Now -- eight months later with the full force of the FBI involved -- authorities are saying the women themselves may have been responsible for the acts.

The two women have been charged with criminal mischief and false reporting, and Aimee Whitchurch -- one of the lesbians -- faces an additional charge of forgery.
