Tunisian Demonstrators Rip Holocaust Display; See It as Zionist Propaganda for Genocide Myth

A Holocaust exhibition at the National Library in Tunis has been met with fierce opposition, with demonstrators tearing down posters and condemning "propaganda" for the "decades-old myth about a genocide for the Jewish people," the Times of Israel website reports today (January 2, 2017).

The exhibition was the initiative of Tunisian historian Habib Kazdaghl.

"This is a historical documentary exhibition which exposes and denounces Nazi propaganda," he said.

In the demonstration, dozens of people chanted, "Free, free Palestine. Out with the Zionists." They then went on to remove posters about the exhibition.
