King Abdullah of Jordan said today (January 25, 2018) that there will be no peaceful solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict without the U.S., despite U.S. President Trump's Muslim-enraging decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, according to the Jerusalem Post website.
"We cannot have a peace process or peace solution without the role of the United States," said the King of Jordan at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
"The subject of Jerusalem has to be part of a comprehensive solution for Israel and the Palestinians," Abdullah said.
He added that the outcome of the embassy move "comes back to how we see Jerusalem in the future." The city is as important to Christians as it is to Muslims. "It could be a tremendous city or it can lead to violence, the likes of which we've never seen before."
