An Italian man was arrested after seven people were injured in a drive-by shooting today (February 3, 2018) in the central Italian city of Macerata, according to the UPI website.
Piazza Vittoria, 28, is accused of firing a gun in different parts of the city. He shouted "Italy to the Italians" and made a Roman salute during his arrest.
Six women and one man -- all black immigrants -- are hospitalized as a result of the shootings.
The shootings occurred on Via Spalato, where an 18-year-old Italian woman was found murdered earlier this week. Her body was dismembered and hidden in two suitcases. The chief suspect in that crime is a 29-year-old Nigerian.
