Jurors took less than an hour yesterday (August 17, 2012) to convict Brittni Colleps -- a married mother of three -- on 16 counts of an improper relationship between a teacher and a student, according to the Global Post website.
Colleps, 28 -- who met the students while teaching at Kennedale High School in Texas -- repeatedly invited five teenagers to her home for sex.
She was sentenced to five years in prison.
Colleps' husband -- who was overseas serving in the U.S. military at the time -- said he was "mad at her" but he was trying to come to terms with it through church and prayer. He added that what his wife did was "morally and ethically wrong" but that's "between me and her and God."
