Three blasts have hit churches in the northern Nigerian state of Kaduna today (June 17, 2012), according to the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty website.
At least two people were killed and 48 were wounded in the bomb attacks on two churches, a Nigerian Red Cross official reports.
The Associated Press (AP) says 12 people were killed.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the Islamist sect Boko Haram has often attacked church services in Nigeria, which is split roughly evenly between Christians and Muslims.

We note that Nigerian Christians are not bombing mosques. Yet the media continues to present Islam as a religion of peace.
