Indiana Church Renews Old Brewery Into Church; Building's Renovations to Be Done by Volunteers

The Christian Broadcast Network website reports today (April 28, 2012) that One Life Church in Evansville, Indiana is transforming an old brewery into its house of worship.

The church -- which is known locally for its "come as you are" attitude -- already has one location in a shopping center in Henderson, Kentucky.

Leaders say the former brewery is the perfect building. The facility is large enough for a growing congregation and they hope it will be a symbol of rejuvenation for the community.

Renovations for the brewery-turned-church building will be completed by volunteers. One Life Church--West plans to open on August 19, 2012.
