U.S. President Donald Trump said today (June 22, 2019) that migrants who will be targeted in a nationwide roundup should return to their native countries, according to the VOA News website.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency will round up and deport families who have received a removal order from a U.S. immigration court.
The operation will begin tomorrow and will target 2,000 families in large cities, including Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami.
Trump tweeted today that ICE agents will pursue those who "have run from the law and run from the courts."
