Gay Pride March in Paris Attracts a Half-Million; Pride Events Held in Many More European Cities

This year's Gay Pride march kicked off at 2 p.m. in Paris yesterday, the Euro News website reports today (June 30, 2019).

The 5.5km march saw participants convene at Montparnasse and head to the direction of Republique.

Around half a million people take part in the annual event each year.

Pride events were also held yesterday in Dublin, Milan, Helsinki, Barcelona, Madrid, London, Manchester, and Geneva.
