New Secret Tax Dept. in France Focuses on Jews; Hires 20 Employees to Survey Tax-Evading Jews

A business news service in Israel has exposed a new secret tax authority in France that targets exclusively French Jews -- one unprecedented anywhere in the world -- the WND website reports today (December 31, 2017).

"The procedure is new and questionable, and discriminates against French Jews," Itay Bracha, a tax expert who represents French clients said.

The French department was established to handle French Jewish tax evaders, and it hired 20 Hebrew-speaking employees with experience and understanding of Israeli law to examine whether Jews were using these laws to evade taxes in France.

The goal of the department is to catch French Jews evading taxes by using Israel as a tax shelter.
