The Europe News website reports today (August 26, 2011) that a Muslim chaplain with New York City's Department of Corrections was arraigned yesterday as part of a Queens prostitution sting.
Authorities say Imam Aziz Bilal of Queens was arrested last Tuesday night for allegedly patronizing a prostitute.
Bilal -- who has an arrest record that includes robbery and bribery -- was held without bail yesterday and is due back in court in October.
He has been a chaplain with the Department of Corrections since 1990.
