Bomb Kills 2 Praying in Orthodox Church in Libya; Viewed as Christians Targeted by Radical Islamists

At least two Egyptians have died and two others have been wounded in a bomb attack on an Egyptian Orthodox Church in Libya, the Global Post website reports today (December 30, 2012).

Home-made dynamite used for fishing was found at the site of the bomb, the BBC reported. The church is in Dafiniyah  and is often frequented by Egyptians.

Egypt's foreign minister denounced the attack and called for an investigation.

Christians in Egypt and Libya -- two predominantly Islamic countries -- have become worried about being targeted by hard-line Islamists in recent months.
