The Catholic Culture website reports today (April 16, 2010) that the Vatican has just created a new website offering resources to explain the Catholic Church's handling of sex-abuse problems.
The site provides links to the Pope's pastoral letter to the Irish Church about the sex-abuse scandal there, and other papal letters and documents.
Also included are links to official Vatican documents, statements from the press office, interviews with Vatican officials responsible for sex-abuse issues, and other relevant resources.
To view the Vatican's new website -- which is titled "Abuse of Minors. The Church's Response" -- log onto the Catholic Culture website, and click on the source at the end of the article on the new Vatican website.
