A Vermont substitute teacher was fired after she taught children how to make the Nazi salute, the Jerusalem Post website reports today (September 25, 2017).
Ned Kirsch, the school superintendent of the Georgia Elementary School in Georgia, Vermont, said the teacher was fired after admitting she taught the students the "Heil Hitler" salute.
The teacher has substituted for several years.
A guidance counselor will visit the children in the classroom to talk to the students and make sure they feel safe, according to a report.
