New Survey Finds Strong Drop in UK Anglicans; More Than Half of UK People Have No Religion

Figures released today (September 5, 2017) reveal that the number of Anglicans in Britain has dropped by 50 percent in less than two decades, according to the Christian Today website.

The British Social Attitudes survey's data on religion show that the number of people in Britain who describe themselves as having no religion at all is at its highest level ever.

More than half, or 53 percent, of the British public now describe themselves as having "no religion."

This is up from 48 percent in 2015.
