A new study reveals that Poland has seen a rise in anti-Semitism over the last two years, the AFP website reports today (September 2, 2017).
The University of Warsaw's Center for Research on Prejudice found acceptance for anti-Semitic hate speech rose significantly from 2014 to 2016 compared to previous years.
Researchers attribute the increase to a spike in Islamophobia and anti-migrant sentiment.
Around 11 percent of adults and 24 percent of younger Poles admitted to making frequent anti-Semitic remarks.
