Taliban gunmen today (June 5, 2016) killed seven people -- including a chief prosecutor -- when they attacked a courthouse in Afghanistan, The Daily Beast website reports.
Prosecutor Akram Nejat was hit during a ceremony celebrating his new title, said a police official.
About 21 others -- including police officers -- were injured in the attack.
All three of the reported Taliban assailants were fatally shot by Afghan security forces.
