The ABC News website reports that the Georgetown law student -- who drew an apology from Rush Limbaugh this past weekend after the popular conservative radio host called her a "slut" on his show -- said that his public apology was not enough, during an appearance on ABC's "The View" TV show today (March 5, 2012).
"I don't think that a statement like this issued, saying that his choice of words was not the best, changes anything," said the 30-year-old student, Sandra Fluke.
Limbaugh called Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute" on his show last week, because she testified in Congress, arguing that her university's health insurance should cover contraception for female students.
The reason that Limbaugh is believed to have apologized for his choice of words to describe Fluke is because several sponsors of his show ended their advertising, as a result of his vulgar description of her.
