High-ranking Christian and Muslim leaders -- as well as scholars and interfaith practitioners -- will gather from November 1-4, 2010 for an international consultation on Christian and Muslim concerns, according to the Ekklesia website.
The meeting will take place at the Ecumenical Center in Geneva, Switzerland, home of the World Council of Churches (WCC) and several other internationally-focused organizations.
The international consultation -- titled "Transforming Communities: Christians and Muslims Building a Common Future" -- will seek to identify and address issues of common concern.
"Christians and Muslims have a joint responsibility to contribute the very best of their theological, spiritual, and ethical resources for the common good of humanity," the organizers said.
