A humanitarian ship carrying 64 migrants is stuck in the Mediterranean Sea after both Italy and Malta refused the migrants entry, the Euro News website reports today (April 5, 2019).
The migrants were rescued off the coast of Libya on April 3 by the German NGO, Sea-Eye.
The ship is now in international waters off the Italian island of Lampedusa.
Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said that since the ship is German-registered, it should "go to Hamburg."
