Fears of "climate change" and other environmental disasters are prompting some women to band together to refuse to bear children, the WND (World Net Daily) website reports today (March 4, 2019).
About 60 people have already joined a new group calling itself "BirthStrike," consisting of people "too concerned by the consequences of ecological collapse to have children."
"I'm terrified. Our planet is in a kind of collapse," Blythe Pepino, 33, told the BBC regarding why she founded the group.
She added, "The natural world is collapsing around us and that's actually happening right now... Everything I've read that basically last year I came to the decision that I couldn't bring a child into that."
