Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today (November 4, 2016) lashed out at the German government, claiming that the migrant policies of Chancellor Angela Merkel have made Germany a haven for terrorists, according to the Breitbart website.
The controversial power-obsessed president -- who has consolidated his power in the wake of the failed coup to overthrow him in July -- said that Germany was harboring members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is illegal in Turkey. In fact, Turks and Kurds are now arch enemies, as Kurds seek to establish their own independent state in Turkey.
"Germany has become an important port for terrorists, " Erdogan said.
He warned that the German open door policy during the height of the migrant crisis -- Germany accepted more than a million migrants in 2015 -- would come back to haunt Germans, saying: "Hey Germany, be aware that these terrorists will hit you like a boomerang."
