Iraqi forces have been battling waves of ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) suicide bombs, as they advance deeper into eastern Mosul, the Euro News website reports today (November 14, 2016).
Troops are converging from several fronts on Iraq's second largest city.
Mosul is ISIS' last major controlled region of Iraq.
Medical teams have been treating several injured civilians. ISIS militants are said to have turned on civilians when Iraqi soldiers arrived.
