A Palestinian Authority police officer wounded three IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) soldiers at around 5 p.m. today (October 31, 2016) in a shooting terror attack at the "Focus" checkpoint that secures the entrance to Ramallah, the capital city of the Palestinian Authority (PA), according to the Jewish Press website.
"A Palestinian gunman arrived at an IDF crossing at the entrance to Ramallah and opened fire at forces at the scene, injuring three IDF soldiers." the IDF said.
One soldier was listed in serious condition at a Jerusalem hospital with a gunshot wound to the hip. The other two soldiers were listed in good condition, both having sustained shrapnel wounds.
The terrorist was shot and killed by other forces at the scene. He was identified as Mahmoud Turkeman.
