A Brea, California high school teacher has been accused of having sex with a 17-year-old male student, according to the Orange County district attorney's office, the World News Views website reports today (July 23, 2013).

Michelle Johnson, 45, of Anaheim, was charged today with six felony counts of oral sex of a minor and three felony counts of unlawful sexual intercourse. She is currently out of custody on $20,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned tomorrow.

Johnson -- who worked as a math teacher at Brea Olinda High School -- allegedly engaged in a sexual relationship with the victim between April and June.

The inappropriate behavior occurred on multiple occasions outside of the school and on campus, said the district attorney's office. The victim's parents contacted police after they became suspicious of their son's relationship with Johnson.
