The Biden administration has formally invited the United Nations to investigate "the scourge of racism, racial discrimination, and xenophobia" in the U.S., the WND website reports today (July 18, 2021).
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made the invitation in a statement on July 13.
Blinken said it's a matter of "transparency." "As the President has repeatedly made clear, great nations such as ours do not hide from our shortcomings; they acknowledge them openly and strive to improve with transparency," he said.
