More than 25% of people who attended religious services at least once a month before the coronavirus pandemic have no plans to return to the church, synagogue, or mosque in the next few weeks, as lockdown restrictions continue to be lifted, a new poll shows, according to the Christian Post website.
Data from the nationwide poll -- conducted in mid-June with 1,125 adults -- shows that while many people plan to reconnect with friends and family, only 34% say they plan to attend jn-person religious services in the next few weeks.
And while a majority -- 73% of people -- say they plan on attending religious services in person in the coming weeks, 27% have no plans to do so.
