Pope Francis yesterday told a group of parents of LGBT children that "God loves your children as they are," the American Magazine website reports today (September 20, 2020).
He did so at a brief encounter with some 40 parents of LGBT children after a public audience in the Renaissance courtyard of San Damaso in the Vatican.
The parents are members of an Italian association, Tanda di Gionata (Jonathan's Tent), which welcomes and provides information to LGBT Christians, their families, and pastoral workers.
