The Vatican has announced that Pope Francis will sign a new encyclical on "human fraternity" that will include praise for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas -- a known terror supporter and inciter, and a rabid antisemite -- the Clarion Project website reports today (September 10, 2020).
An encyclical -- or letter from the pope -- is a serious and important form of communication by a pope historically used to express a pope's opinion on any given issue.
In the encyclical, Pope Francis writes: "Let us all, brothers, consider the Good Shepherd who to save His sheep bore the suffering of the Cross."
