Swastikas and anti-Semitic and racial slurs were discovered in a skate park in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the JTA (Jewish Telegraphic Agency) website reports today (August 21, 2017).
The Veterans' Memorial Park was closed for several hours on August 18 after the 15 swastikas and slurs -- which included "Jews die" and Free USA" -- were discovered.
Ann Arbor police are investigating the incident and have increased patrols around city parks.
Mayor Christopher Taylor said in a statement, "Hate speech goes against the moral fiber of the Ann Arbor community."
