A suicide bomber and a group of gunmen attacked a mosque in Kabul today (August 25, 2017) as worshippers gathered to pray, killing at least two people and injuring several more, according to the UPI website.
The suicide bomber detonated his explosives outside the Imam Zaman mosque in Afghanistan's capital city.
Then, at least three gunmen stormed inside the mosque and opened fire.
In addition to the two worshippers killed, at least 14 others were injured. The Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack.
