Six Soldiers Wounded by Car in Paris Suburb; Police Shoot, Arrest Suspect for Terror Attack

French authorities shot and arrested a suspect of a vehicle attack today (August 9, 2017) on a group of French soldiers in Paris, according to the UPI website.

Six soldiers were injured when they were struck by a car this morning -- an incident officials are regarding as an act of terrorism.

The soldiers left a building at around 8 a.m. and were knocked down by a BMW near the city hall of Lavallois-Perret, a Paris suburb.

The suspect was shot by police and arrested on a highway leading from Paris. He was not identified by police.
