Univ. of Va. Dean Pleads Not Guilty of Child Porn; Accused of Sharing Child Porn on Internet Network

Michael Morris -- an associate dean at the University of Virginia -- pleaded not guilty yesterday to federal charges of distributing child pornography, the Washington Post website reports today (December 4, 2013).

According to federal court records, Morris is accused of sharing pornographic videos on an Internet network. He appeared in U.S. District Court in Charlottesville, Virginia to answer the charges.

Morris is a professor at the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce.

In November -- when Morris was charged -- a school spokesman said he had been suspended and that the school was working with authorities.
