The Prague Daily Monitor website reports today (April 12, 2012) that Czechs believe that bribes and corruption have the biggest influence on politicians' decision-making, according to a poll carried out last month and released on April 10.
Lawmakers are also under a big influence of interest groups and lobbies, the poll showed.
Forty-one percent of people said bribes and corruption were key factors in decision-making.
More than one quarter of the 1053 people polled believe that citizens' opinions do not influence politics at all.
