The Washington Times website reports today (April 14, 2012) that up to a dozen Secret Service agents in Colombia -- where they had arrived in advance of President Obama's visit to that country -- have been relieved of their duties amid allegations of misconduct with prostitutes.
The agents have been replaced by other agents in Cartagena, Columbis -- site of the summit of the Americas -- where Obama arrived yesterday.
Edwin Donovan -- spokesman for the Secret Service -- said the development would not affect the president's security at the summit.
Obama is scheduled to take part in two days of meetings before returning to Washington on Sunday night (April 15).
