The One News Now website reports today (April 3, 2012) that pro-lifers are criticizing the University of Notre Dame in Indiana for its indirect promotion of pro-abortion organizations.
The Catholic school had been highly criticized for giving pro-abortion President Barack Obama an honorary degree during its 2009 graduation. In fact, the head of the Indiana Archdiocese -- and several other invited Catholics -- refused to attend that graduation.
Now, John Ritchie -- of The American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) -- points to a Notre Dame link promoting "summer internship opportunities" for students.
"The list they point students to features a number of pro-abortion groups, some very radical pro-abortion groups," Ritchie details. "And since the Catholic Church teaches that abortion is a sin, it's the killing of an innocent life, it seems highly inappropriate to point students in that direction."
