Turkey today (May 14, 2018) said it was recalling its ambassadors to the U.S. and Israel to protest U.S. relocating its embassy to Jerusalem, according to the Newsmax website.
The move came after deadly protests took place in Gaza ahead of and during the ceremony in Jerusalem.
At least 55 Palestinians were killed, and 2,700 injured, in clashes along the Gaza-Israeli border, making it the deadliest day there since the 2014 Gaza war.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Israel a "terrorist state" as a result of the savage Israeli killings, and said today's massacre was a "genocide" inflicted upon the Palestinians.
