Jewish vandals painted disgusting anti-Christian slogans on a church next to Jerusalem's Old City during the early morning hours today (October 2, 2012) -- the latest in a series of attacks on Christian and Muslim sites -- according to the Times of Israel website.
The slogans -- discovered on the walls of the Dormition Abbey -- were written in Hebrew and included an anti-Christian and vulgar slogan defaming Jesus: "Jesus is a son of a bitch."
The Dormition Abbey is a Benedictine site located over the spot where Christians believe the Virgin Mary -- the mother of Jesus -- died.
Israeli President Shimon Peres quickly condemned the vandalism. He called such acts "a negation of Judaism" that "damage Israel." He added, "We must not reconcile ourselves to these attacks."
