The Jerusalem Post website reports today (November 26, 2010) that in a Washington Post interview, Lebanese Prime Minister Sa'ad Hariri has blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by saying he "does not believe in peace."
"There is no leadership in Israel," Hariri said. "At one point you had (Prime Minister Yitzhak) Rabin who wanted peace... but Netanyahu doesn't believe in peace."
Hariri accused Netanyahu of being "somebody who is not willing to talk about real peace in the region."
"Netanyahu takes the issue of security as the basis of his whole political platform, but you only have security if you have peace," Hariri concluded.
