A New Jersey synagogue is crediting recent safety improvements after a Molotov cocktail thrown at its door overnight caused little damage, the JTA website reports.
Still, Temple Ner Temidin in Bloomdfield canceled activities on Jan. 29, 2023 as police investigated.
According to security camera footage, a man approached the synagogue around 3 a.m. on Jan. 29 and threw a Molotov cocktail at the door before fleeing. The building suffered little damage, as it underwent recent safety changes.
