Greek Minist4r of Citizen Protection Takis Theodorikakos announced yesterday that Greece is planning to build a new 140-km fence to cover its entire European border with Turkey, in an efftheologyandsociety.blogspot.comflow of illegal migrants, the RT website reports today (Jan. 8, 2023).
Construction of the first 35-km span of the new fence is set to begin "immediately," an official said.
Greece and Turkey share about a 200-km common border in Europe that runs primarily along the Evros River.
