Evangelist Franklin Graham says the so-called Respect for Marriage Act, which is set to be voted on by Congress soon, is a deceptive smoke-screen that would change the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman, while not protecting those who hold a traditional view of marriage, the Christian Post website reports today (Nov. 29, 2022).
Graham addressed the Respect for Marriage Act in a Facebook post, cautioning that it "could impact you, your family, your church, and our nation."
He warned that the act is "designed to provide strong protections for same-sex marriage --but it fails to protect those of us who believe marriage is between a man and a woman."
