President Donald Trump said yesterday that his administration decided to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and move the U.S. embassy there from Tel Aviv to please evangelical Christians, the CBN News website reports today (August 18, 2020).
"We moved the capital of Israel to Jerusalem," Trump said at a rally in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. "That's for
the evangelicals."
"You know what's amazing with that? The evangelicals are more excited about that than the Jewish people..."
