Russian Flight Attend. Fired for "Hahaha" Tweet; Mocked Plane Crash in Indonesia Killing 45 People

The New York Post website reports that a flight attendant from Russia's biggest airline was fired today (May 11, 2012), after she tweeted "hahaha" about a fatal plane crash in Indonesia in which at least 45 people -- including an American -- were killed.

Ekaterina Solovyeva lost her job at Aeroflot after tweeting "Huh? Did a Superjet crash? Hahaha! This aircraft sucks, it's a pity it wasn't in Aeroflot, that would be one less."

Users of the offending tweet complained to the airline.

About 45 people were aboard the Sukhoi Superjet 100 when it vanished from the radar screens on May 9 south of the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Officials believe everyone on board died.
