Two people were stabbed and a terrorist was shot dead by police today (February 2, 2020) in an Islamist-inspired terror attack in south London, according to the Sky News website.
Sudesh Amman was wearing a fake bomb vest when he attacked people in the southern London area of Streatham.
He had been sentenced in December 2018 to three years and four months in jail, after a court heard that he had shared his extremist views with those close to him.
Amman was under police surveillance at the time of today's attack.
