The Arab League today (February 1, 2020) unanimously shot down U.S. President Trump's Middle East peace plan, saying it would not lead to a just peace between Israel and Palestine, according to the RT website.
Trump's deal has already been rejected by the Palestinian side.
The 22 League members met in Cairo today to discuss the deal -- touted by Trump as the "deal of the century" -- for peace between Israel and Palestine.
Speaking at the meeting, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced he will cut all ties with the U.S. and Israel over the pro-Israel plan, and would not go down in history as the person who "sold out Jerusalem."
