A new NPR poll shows that a slim majority of Americans now approve of the House Impeachment inquiry into President Trump, the NPR website reports today (October 11, 2019).
Fifty-two percent say they approve of the inquiry, while 43 percent disapprove.
That's a slight increase in support from two weeks ago, when 49 percent approved and 46 percent disapproved.
The uptick in support of the NPR poll comes mostly from a swing among independents, most of whom had disapproved of the inquiry in late September.
